We are pleased to invite you this Sunday, September 6th, 
from 1:00pm to 2:30 pm, to take a Tap Master Class from Mr. 
Jason Samuels Smith! 
 
The level of the class will be Intermediate, and the cost 
is $25.00 per person. This is the first time that Mr. 
Samuels-Smith comes to the Sacramento area, and being one 
of the best tap dancers in the world,this will be a great 
learning opportunity and overall experience. Register now

JASON SAMUELS SMITH began his professional career as 
part of the Tony Award winning Broadway cast of "Bring in 
Da Noise,Bring in da Funk", performing in principal as well 
as the leading role. As a multi-talented Tap leader, his 
work has been recognized with an Emmy and American 
Choreography Award, the Gregory Hines Humanitarian Award, 
an Alpert/McDowell Residency Award, and an Arts 
International Grant to name a few. He choreographed for 
Grammy Recording Artist Mya on "Secret Talents of the 
Stars," and was a special guest on Fox's hit series "So You 
Think You Can Dance". Film credits include Dean Hargrove's 
"Tap Heat," Universal Studios/HBO's feature "Idlewild" 
starring Outkast; and Debbie Allen's AMC series"Cool 
Women." He was also featured as the Samurai Tap Dancer in 
the groundbreaking production of "Imagine Tap!" Other 
performances 
include Sammy, Soul Possessed; Cross Currents: Turned on 
Tap! 
and India Jazz Progressions. His community work includes 
Career 
Transitions For Dancers, Dancers Responding to Aids, 
Everybody 
Dances, Tap Into A Cure, and programs targeting at-risk 
youth in New Orleans. Mr. Samuels Smith tours the US and 
beyond with the award-winning production of India Jazz 
Suites, with Kathak Master Pandit Chitresh Das; his tap 
company A.C.G.I (Anybody Can Get It); the jazz-influenced 
hip hop band, JaJa Productions; and his latest 
production,"Charlie's Angels: A Tribute to Charlie Parker" 
featuring some of the finest women performers today.
