Hi Everyone,
I wanted to tell you how good you looked in the workshop. You were so focused and energetic. And, you looked so cute in the final choreography! You really brought that dance to life! What FUN! Thank you so much for participating I had a good time with you. Many of you I knew from my classes and many of you I just met for the first time that day. I look forward to seeing you again in my classes and in the next workshop on Sunday, April 26th at the Ailey Studios. It's time to sign up now!!! I hope you were able to get something from the workshop that you will be able to use in your dancing and in your choreographing such as: finding proper body alignment, learning how to pick up a step using several of the different tools we learned, learning choreography very quickly, then dancing it right away, and so on. That is good practice for auditions! I was so surprised that I didn't have enough time to get through all the material I had prepared for you. We didn't really have time to perform all the choreography we learned. We could only do the last part of "Hand Jive" a few times. In the next workshop, I will spend more time in the choreography section, especially so tha t we can perform the whole dance that we learned. Also, I would like to focus more on the technique of turns. I was wondering if you had any questions about the material I covered, or any suggestions. Was there anything you wished I had spent more time on? Maybe turns or jumps? I would like to hear from you concerning this. I am planning the next Mind-Body Connection Workshop for Sunday, April 26th from 1-4pm at the Ailey Studios. Sign up now, the space is limited! I look forward to seeing you at the next workshop. Thank you for bringing so much joy to the dance!! Live, Love, Laugh, DANCE!!! Sue Samuels ================================= CHECK IT OUT!! Dancers over 50! It is fun to see us moving around and having fun as an "older" dancer.
Featuring Sue Samuels!

It's the series of movement that we compose to finally make an statement. Everybody has his own way because we were all born as individual human beings. You just have to find your way, find who you are, then express your feelings. Our movements are inspired by artist that we admired since we were kids, like James Brown, Michael Jackson and many others. Also from "Styles" like Hip-Hop, Popping, Locking, House, Afro, Latin and Tango movements and an endless list. Even from people that are not even dancers or artists. "ABOUT THE CLASS" Beside teaching segments of our own material, we always teach to our students how to find themselves and become artists and "Not Mechanic dancers" We focus in each individual student by working his own movement with different type of music, from Hip-Hop Beats to Classical and New Tango. That will help the student to tell the different between "Attitude" & "Feeling" and "Fusion & "Interpretation" "ABOUT OUR MISSION" To give people hope that there is a whole universe to discover in "Art" "Nothing is what it was, nothing is what it is, There is NOT only one way to do something.
