INDIA JAZZ SUITES (also called Fastest Feet in Rhythm), featuring Pandit Chitresh Das and Jason Samuels Smith, is an explosive collaboration between one of India’s foremost Kathak masters and one of the world’s fastest, Emmy-award winning tap dancers. The result is high entertainment which crosses all boundaries of age, race and culture — a blast of incredible speed and power, grace and beauty, epic storytelling and the pure joy of dance. ??After premiering in San Francisco in 2005, INDIA JAZZ SUITES has received extensive critical acclaim and has toured around the U.S. and India. at the MANHATTAN MOVEMENT & ARTS CENTER
The Group Theatre Too presents its third annual Choreographer's Canvas, a one-night event featuring the works of over fifteen cutting-edge New York choreographers. See new and traditional styles of choreography including, tap, ballet, theatre dance, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary and even aerial dance. Experience New York's established and emerging choreographers in this uplifting mosaic evening of music and movement.
Choreographers include: Kyla Barkin, Michael Blevins, Justin Boccitto, Bob Boross, Jessica Chen, Dana Fisch, Bobby Hedglin-Taylor, The Manhattan Youth Ballet, The New York Theatre Ballet, Katrina Phillip, Jonathan Riedel, Sue Samuels, Tracie Stanfield, Michael Susten, Kate Swan, Dawne Swearingen and Jennifer Turey.
The Canvas performs for one-evening on Wednesday, May 5th, 8pm at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, 248 West 60th Street.

RHTYHM WORLD is the oldest and most comprehensive festival of American tap and contemporary percussive arts in the world. RHYTHM WORLD features an extraordinary master faculty of 24 teachers and two weeks of performance, education and community outreach programs including free public performances at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, tap jams at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Claudia Cassidy Theater, student showcases, panel discussions and extraordinary faculty concerts at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.

He recently found himself in the hospital with an infection and managed to find the will and energy to start healing and get back home. While we are very excited about his progress on the road to recovery, we have learned the medical expenses and prescriptions for the next month or so are costing $600 a week!
The Tap Community has done wonders for many of our masters throughout the years. We are asking you to join us again to help us support Tap's legacy by sending any contribution you can afford to Dr. Spencer.
